Kyle Kuzma Out for Wizards vs. Rockets Due to Shoulder Injury

The Washington Wizards face the Houston Rockets on Tuesday night without their leading scorer, Kyle Kuzma.

Kuzma is sidelined due to left shoulder soreness, the same injury that kept him out of Sunday's loss to the Celtics.

The Wizards are already struggling and losing Kuzma is a major blow.

Kuzma has been Washington's most consistent player this season, averaging 22.4 points per game.

It's unclear when Kuzma will return to action.

In his absence, the Wizards will likely turn to Justin Champagnie or Patrick Baldwin to fill the starting forward spot.

The Wizards are also missing Deni Avdija, Bilal Coulibaly, and Landry Shamet due to injuries.

The Rockets, meanwhile, enter the game on a five-game winning streak.
