Dallas Cowboys Re-sign Familiar Running Back for 2024 Season

After losing a crucial player to free agency last week, the Dallas Cowboys are welcoming back a well-known face to the running back room.

Last week, the Cowboys witnessed Tony Pollard sign a contract with the Tennessee Titans.

Key running backs have left the Dallas Cowboys in recent offseasons.

In as many offseasons, the Cowboys have lost two important running backs. In the previous offseason, Ezekiel Elliott was released.

Last week, the team was supposed to make an effort to find a capable substitute. The "all-in" Cowboys thought AJ Dillon would make sense, but he inked a new contract with the Green Bay Packers.

Similar to how the Packers had Dillon back, the Cowboys have one player returning from the 2023 squad.
