UNB Reds Repeat as U Sports Men's Hockey Champions!

UNB Reds successfully defended their U Sports Men's Hockey Championship title with a dominant 4-0 victory over the UQTR Patriotes.

Austen Keating led the offense with a goal and two assists, while Brady Gilmour earned MVP honors.

The Reds boasted a stifling defense, with goaltender Samuel Richard recording a historic third shutout of the tournament.

This shutout is the first time a team has blanked all opponents in the entire U Sports Men's Hockey Championship.

UNB placed four players on the All-Star team, including Keating, Gilmour, Richard, and Kale McCallum.

Despite strong goaltending from Alexis Gravel, UQTR couldn't capitalize on power play opportunities.

Looking ahead, the Reds are already motivated to secure a three-peat championship next year.
