Beyoncé Spotlights Shaboozey Twice on 'Cowboy Carter': Unveiling the Hip-Hop, Country Artist
"Spaghettii" and "Sweet Honey Buckiin'" are two tracks from Beyonce's latest album "Act II: Cowboy Carter," which features Black country musicians. Shaboozey is a legitimate crossover performer...
Shaboozey is a Nigerian-American musician and rapper who was born in Virginia. He is most renowned for fusing hip-hop and country music. More than 8 million people have listened to his single "Let It Burn".
He unveiled the music video for his most recent track, "Anabelle," last month. On May 31, his album "Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going" will be available.
Shaboozey is signed to Empire and has gained greater traction in Nashville in the past several months. He is among the many Black performers that defy genres that are showcased on "Cowboy Carter."
The song also features Linda Martell, a trailblazing musician in the country music genre.
"Genres are a funny little concept, aren't they?" she replies.
